PIP Questions

I have been awarded PIP for the first time . I had a telephone assessment and been awarded for 2 years
After 2 years when it is reviewed do I have to fill out the same forms that I filled in when I applied ? I am already stressed thinking about it as I know 2 years will come around very quickly. Do not get my wrong I am very grateful that I have been awarded .
Obviously I can not see in the future but in the next 2 years I can see there being no change but I will also likely not have all new medical evidence that I had when I applied . I sent in hospital admissions, consultant letters . What if I don't have new ones in 2 years or do I send everything I sent them this time ?
I suppose I just want to know whether a review of your award is as intense as the application. What if nothing has changed do they still want to see you or have another telephone assessment?

It will be more like 1 year in, or 18 months when you're asked to reapply.
I sent in all the same evidence I had before, any additional evidence, an up to date diary of how I was impacted and what help I needed.
I personally didn't need another assessment and got a 4 year award second time around.

Thankyou for your reply . That is not long at all is it . I will just have to send in all the evidence that I sent in this time and hope for the best . I am hoping I do not need to be seen and they just renew . I don't think I can cope with another assessment .

When you a diary do you mean you wrote a typical day or week ? And what support you had ?

I wrote 2 weeks worth, with sections for each criterion. It was handy as it let me say specifically "I needed x help with y activity on z days out of 14"

I will do that Thankyou

I wrote 'the same, or worse, than last application' and gave an example on every question on my renewal form. I was then awarded 4 years without any assessment.

You don’t send in the evidence they already have…they specifically tell you thsi….just your new evidence since the last claim…..treat the review like a new application and fill out the form comprehensively you should get your review form about 8 months before your award is due to end

As much evidence as you can, always. You don't have to repeat what you said but if you have said you struggle to so something/go somewhere you can give a different example to the original claim, so you are just giving more detail essentially. Don't just write no change, there is no guarantee with these things and an award can be taken away as easily as it was given.
