Universal credit and hours worked

I'm just about to migrate to UC from Tax Credits. I currently work less hours than required on UC. Just wondering how soon they will be expecting me to increase my hours. Like is it instantly as soon as I apply? or do I meet with a coach first and we talk it through?
I'd really appreciate any help on this.

Most work related requirements in UC are expressed in cash terms as multiples of the National Living Wage. The start point is 35 times NLW but that can be varied in some circumstances, for example if you have young children.

In practice there is a lower limit, called the Administrative Earnings Threshold currently £892 month for a single claimant and £1437 for a couple. Above that you're on a light touch regime and while you'll need to keep in touch with a coach you should not be 'leaned on'.

If you need detailed advice it's worth speaking to Help to Claim:

As son as you set up your account it will tell you if you need to look for more work in the commitments section, you will then have meetings anything from weekly to monthly dependent on those commitments
