Have you fallen foul of the e-dreams scam?

I booked a flight to Italy with e-dreams. Today I received an email saying that a payment of just under £90 was to be taken out of my account for my "subscription". What a load of rubbish. It seems that I had unwittingly became a "Prime member". I rang up to cancel and was told some rubbish about having to be a member for a year. So, I am not going to have to take it up with my bank. Beware everyone! Anybody else had this experience?

Yes, also caught me out - I wasn't a happy bunny and it stung but chalked it up to experience in the end. V annoying.

Still try doing a claim for goods/services not received through your bank, I did for an item costing £99 and my bank Barclays refunded me.

Used e dreams plenty. I think the subscription is clear and I have always cancelled after free trial. I don’t think T&Cs are hard to see so I don’t know what your bank would say…
