Lots of benefits calculators you can use online to give you a rough idea - www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators

Is little one at nursery? I assume they'll have to be if you're working or don't have family help. You can claim for 85% towards childcare costs as well.

Quick back of a fag packet calculation says around £940/month. That assumes no childcare which, if claimed, would boost it some more.

Hi. I will put my child with a childminder if i start working. That would be around 1000 per month

Pop that into one of the calculators then you should have a good indication

It all depends on what your Uc elements are made up of and how much your housing allowance is.
up to 85% of childcare can be claimed back through UC.

If you work and have a child you will get a £404 work allowance. So deduct the £404 from your wage then multiply the remaining by .55 to get what will be taken off your UC amount
