Due to come off fixed rate in September. Cannot afford higher repayments as all this started just after I had decided to work part time to look after dd

Should we move/bury head in sand? Any economists out there?

With a tracker rate are you tied in for a yr say or can you get a tracker then change to a fixed rate in say 6 motnhs or so?

if anyone is looking for a broker my dp has an ad on here and isn't charging any fees to mumsnetters. He has arranged a mortgage for a mnetter on this thread recently and am sure she would vouch for him
