PIP tribunal

Have a date for PIP tribunal next month for DD
background:
DD is 25, ASD, lives at home, works (minimum wage), drives (only specific places). Desperate to move out but is never going to afford rent on her own. Would manage to live alone but with us keeping a close eye, checking up, helping her manage etc. eg if something broke or the pipes flooded or something new came up she’d have no idea what to do.
She previously claimed PIP when she was 16-19 then it got declined at renewal. Reapplied a few years ago to try to help with moving out/rent costs and been waiting ever since.

She literally scored zero for everything they reported back from her application. I’ll go through it and list what is total lies and nonsense.

so what do I need to do?

You have not given any indication here of whether or not your dd is likely to have any entitlement to pip.

The tribunal more or less know that assessments aren't worth much, so going through pointing out every tiny mistake is unlikely to do much. Where there are major mistakes that impact on the decision, it's worth pointing them out and providing evidence to show why they're wrong.

But the really important thing to do is to go through the legal pip descriptors and make strong, well evidenced arguments for why your daughter should be considered to meet the descriptor.

Make sure what you're saying is consistent with what was written on your DD original pip claim form.

Needing help with rent costs or not being able to handle home improvements independently is not relevant to a pip claim.

I have just had this with my DS, AuDHD. Scored no points originally, increased to 2 at MR stage, so took it to tribunal.
it was really difficult as he had to answer everything himself, I was allowed to speak at the end (I’m his appointee)
The tribunal awarded him 19 points across personal care and mobility, ongoing award.
