Do you believe in eugenics - or is Mumsnet being maligned?

Social media is awash with screen grabs of people on Mumsnet agreeing with the proposition that "we" shouldn't waste money on education of children with special needs because "they" will never earn enough to justify the outlay of "our" money that could be better spenr.

This is the classic eugenics argument of "useless eaters" employed by the Nazis. Who came for children with disabilities long before they started murdering socialists, Jews and Gypsies.

Do you think the targeting of education for those with special educational needs is disgusting and deplorable? Or are you happy to follow that road wherever it leads?

Very much agree with that Barbara plus getting civil servants who don’t all have commercial experience to commission commercial service providers and buy their products is a major weak spot which unscrupulous suppliers can exploit to the max.

You'd think so wouldn't you but it's amazing how often people even on here cry double standards when it's simply a case of different people holding different opinions.

Many people are not too bright.
