PTA Bingo nights - is it now illegal to have children there?

Our PTA has run several Bingo nights for families, with prizes for adults and children, with the actual Bingo being run and cards supplied by a commercial Bingo company.

We have one organised for next Thursday, but the company organiser's boss has now suddenly said that since the new gambling act(apparently came in to force very recently) it's illegal to run events like this for children & that she can't do it for us.
I can't find anything on the web that says anything like this - does anyone else know if it's true?
We are now faced with either cancelling the event or trying to run the whole thing ourselves, but now we don't even know if that would be legal either?

Can anyone help?

This bit is in the new Code of Practice for holders of gambling licences - maybe they think that holding an event at a school would contravene this part of the code?

"Licensees must not deliberately provide facilities for gambling in such a way as to
appeal particularly to children or young people, for example by reflecting or being
associated with youth culture."
