Can anyone help here please? Is £34062.04 on this P60 the 'taxable pay'? Or, do I have to add the figures on the left to it to make it 'taxable pay'?

£34062.04 is your taxable pay- the £44… on the right is what you’ve paid in tax.

Pay on which you actually pay income tax.

Normally your gross less the £12,500 or so you can earn before tax and anything like pension contributions which are deductible from gross rather than net income.

Each column is a sum, so in previous employment + in this employment = total for year. First column is what you've been paid, second column is what you've been taxed out of that pay.

Why are you asking about 'taxable pay'? Normally it would refer to your total income, but occasionally it might be regarded as your income after the tax free personal allowance (unusual though).
