New mortgage but partner has a CCJ

Hi I am looking for some advise, I am looking to remortgage my current home and my partner move in with me and come on the mortgage however he has a CCJ which will fall if his credit file next feb. The reason for re mortgaging now is that I have to buy out my ex (£40k) and I am currently on a very high internet variable rate.
We are talking with L&C and been been up front about his CCJ given them credit reports both in green and good status however she has gone to a high street lender for a mortgage and they have declined due to the CCJ.
She is now looking at specialist lenders however I am a bit peed that this now shows on our credit rating when she knew all the facts up front.
Has anyone got a mortgage with a CCJ and I now panicked that we won't get one and my stress levels can't take much more I am an over thinker and worrier! It's a relatively low borrowing of £140k total and LTV IS 29% I thought we looked good on paper but obviously the way the market is I am super stressed!
Before anyone starts yes i am ring fencing my equity etc etc been together three years
I just need some hope 🙏🏻
