One energy account, 2 debt recovery processes?

Long story short, my energy company took me to court a few years ago for not paying my bills in full following a dispute when Direct Debits were raised. As my owed amount was high I couldn't change supplier and the court awarded a figure in their favour, let's say £500 to keep it simple. During the process of going to court, the amount I owed them went up as I was not paying the amounts they wanted and a further £250(example) debt was incurred. When the court awarded, from that point I paid my full bill and a small amount towards arrears. They are now chasing for the £250 that wasn't included at court. Can they do this, and if they can, is their any guidance on conditions they have to meet to be able to chase a second debt from the same account?

Thanks!

Not enough info I think.

You're bang to rights for £500 plus any costs awarded at court.

How much more energy did you use between summons and judgement?

If £250 worth then you're liable.

If there's still a dispute over, for example, meter readings, then we need to understand that.
