Disbursement of estate - is it an accountant or solicitor I need? where to start!?

Hello
I'm representing the executor of my father's estate. After I did all the probate paperwork in 2020, life got hectic and I didn't get to the next step of disbursement. I would do it myself as there are only two beneficiaries one of whom will be receiving his part in trust, one is me, but the trust part makes it a little confusing for me.

At the moment the estate is a property which is being rented out as well as some royalties which trickle in. What I need to know is whose services do I need to set things up so that I can take it from there? i.e. divvy out payment to me as one beneficiary and divvy out payments on a monthly basis to the beneficiary who is receiving money via a trust. I need someone to help with working out how to handle the tax for the other beneficiary in a particular as he will not be able to manage this himself. I also need to work out what I do about ongoing royalties. I feel like this is something that's easy when you know how but I need help setting it all up.

Any help gratefully received as I'm on maternity leave and now receiving the statutory minimum which isn't covering more than my share in rent and bills, so we could really do with getting this done. Do I need a specialised accountant? any accountant? a specialist solicitor? The income from the estate isn't huge so while I expect to pay the right fee, I can't pay super pricey accountants/ solicitors TIA

The executor can pay out the funds once proabte is done, you could use a solicitor, depends if complicated or not.

If there is a property then the Executor can give the tenants notice and sell the property. Solicitors have specialists that can deal with the trust and the house sale. You could ask for the firms fees to be paid out of the sale proceeds.
