I came on here to look at ways of earning extra money and am so glad to find this thread. Just wondered how it was going still? I would have to offer 48hr turn around, is that likely to be ok. I'm in Newcastle under Lyme.

Hi only just seen this!!

Im still doing it although scaled it down alot as Im now also a childminder.

I have got a lot quicker and its now quite easy money. Typical load earns me about £25 and takes me about an hour and a half

Mind numbingly boring though!

I live in York and I'm just putting the feelers out for an ironing service and cleaning service. I would charge 25 pence and item and 55 pence for shirts. 11 pounds and hour for cleaning or 20 pounds for two hours. I have worked as a supervisor for the nhs managing cleaners for five years and genuinely love what I do. Please message me if you are interested I already have happy customers. Kind regards.

Sorry I meant to put a pound for shirts. Thankyou. I was ironing on the middle of typing. I'm addicted x

Nightingalemumoftwo · 21/04/2015 01:12

£1 for a shirt seems cheap, no? I am charging £1,50 for smart/business shirts as they require time and great finish. Plus it's my electricity.
