Hi remember the issue regarding a deed of trust?

it was May last year and my mother had died and i didn't want dh to rn off with half the money and you suggested a deed of trust.

i am buying a property and i asked him for this and the solicitor said

we would be tenants in common - the deed would be drawn up detailing how much i have put into the property and how my dh has put ino the property - he said it was quite a common thing now.

would only cost £80 (bargain!) and would be registered with land registry.

this seems quite straight forward.

am i missing anything - does this seem right to you?

Nope you are not missing anything. This seems right. You can either be joint tenants (which you don't want) or tenant in common and then the solicitor states how much each of you contributed.
