CSA tribunal

Have got a tribunal with the CSA booked for 25th March. Has anyone got any experience, words of wisdom or can advise me what to expect please? Has got to tribunal as my xp was given a nil assessment, then £71 per week and now £30 per week. Xp has no income to speak of (ex litigation lawyer desperate that I get no money and choosing not to work) but has over 1/2 million pounds worth of assests mainley as equity in property. He has ds 2 nights per week.
Thanks

Thank you. I have looked them up before but will again. Have you used them?

I've just been to a tribunal myself (but my xp decided to take me there, and it sounds like in this case, it's you making the appeal). The process is quiet and conducted in legalese; there is little opportunity for a slanging match, which is probably just as well! A representative from the CSA will be there, along with a judge.
Make sure that you send in all your evidence in writing at least seven days before the hearing.
I don't think they can take into account capital assets, unfortunately, unless he has rental income from them. The CSA assessment is based on income only. There is a formula which applies, and which the CSA should be able to explain to you. Good luck!
