Holiday pay hourly rate zero contract

Hi folks
Help me calculate please how much holiday pay or how many days of holiday I'm entitled to?
Been working since August on zero hour contract (usually work about 10 hrs a week?)

There’s a calculator on the uk government website. I put your hours a and it will tell you what your legal entitlement is.
I would suggest you check your contract, as some put it in there. Also some companies pay an uplift in your wages for holiday pay - so although you may book holiday, you may not get paid it, as you’ve already been paid it in advance as part of your wages. (Agencies are notorious for this).

It's about 12% of hours worked that should be paid holiday.
I want to say 12.07% but would need to check.

Have a look at your pay slips , I also work 0 hours and the accrued holiday is added onto each monthly pay slip , it’s some time since I looked but I think it’s The amount accrued that month - I only do a few hours so it’s a low amount

I think going with 12.07 (you're right, I googled it) makes sense and is easiest.
I haven't done a year yet, just has been a few months but surely I should be entitled.
It is not accrued monthly in the payslip I have checked

Holiday pay should be paid at the time when annual leave is taken. It is no longer legal for an employer to ‘roll-up’ your at so it includes holiday pay.

Thank you, that calculator confused me though
Keeps referring to 52 weeks which I haven't done

It is done on a 52 week average, there was a recent case law which clarified this. You shouldn’t use 12.07% any more. We had an email from our HR advisors about it and it seemed a lot more complex than before but it works out better for the member of staff.

I don't know what exactly you googled but it's given you the wrong answer, it's not allowed to do the 12% thing any more

I know from my work that it's not straight foward

If a worker has less than 52 weeks of pay, use the average pay rate for the full weeks they have worked
