I am just wondering if anyone has had or has an IVA and has any advice for someone considering it?

IVA is a legal arrangement so the terms are naturally stricter. To the person who said that stepchange never recommends an IVA to a non-homeowner, that’s clearly incorrect. If flexibility is your main concern OP, then a DMP may indeed be the best option for you. If your priority is to rid yourself of debt as soon as possible, then an IVA may be more suitable.

Thank you!
When I had my Iva meeting with step change he actually seemed to recommend a DRO.
My car is worth less then I imagined 🙈
My remaining money after the budget is currently £125 so he's asked me to looked over my budget and have a think. I don't think he's allowed to outright recommend something but I felt that was what he was trying to do in and indirect way.
So I'm considering a DRO now...
