Paypal Inactivity Fee

Rarely use old pp account but had a couple of postage refunds a year or so back which I never claimed as I requested stamps instead. Had an email advising I need to login etc or be liable for an Inactivity Fee. Is this genuine, do I need to bother? What is the fee?

I assume the information will be on your PayPal account once you have logged in. Dont use the link in the email to be on the safe side.

Many things are getting deleted or charged now if it isn't active. Email accounts, cloud accounts for photos etc. It only takes a few seconds every 2 to 3 months to login and keep it active.

Its real. A simple Google has brought up many reputable sites from 2020

I believe I had an e.mail about this at the time PayPal decided to do it, probably about the time Ebay stopped using PayPal for processing payments, maybe earlier.

I have also had one to let me know that the free returns stop this month.

Perhaps your e.mails go into your junk folder if you don't use PayPal much.
