can you claim jobseekers allowance with a broken wrist?

You mean as in signing as 'fit for work' or whatever. I'd say yes as long as you're actively seeking work as they put it.

Don't know for sure, but I did know a woman with a damaged wrist (don't think it was broken) who was taken off JSA and went onto income support while her wrist healed. When she was better she was able to sign on for JSA again.
