Household bills for a family of 3, married with a one year old child. We have joint finances and live in Ireland so these figures are all in euros. Pensions come out at source so I don't include them in the budget.

We have fairly low fixed outgoings, mostly thanks to our small mortgage, although we make up for it with our discretionary spending.

Bills

Mortgage 515
Health Insurance 147
Electric & Gas 180 (approximately, this varies)
Netflix 15
Phones 20.
Specsavers subscription 13
Life Insurance 34
YouTube Premium 12
Dog rescue charity 10
Amazon Prime 4.5
Medication 80
Bins 28
Google Storage 2
CrossFit 80
Baby classes 40

€1181 a month

Those are all our fixed bills. We also put €650 a week on a Revolut card (we both have this card on our Google Pay) and that's our spending money to cover everything else, including fuel (around €40), groceries (around €110-€130), nights out, takeaways, toys, clothes, gifts, appointments etc etc.

So approximately €2600 a month gets spent and the rest gets saved.

Holidays come out of our savings and big yearly bills like house insurance (€450) car insurance (€600) and the camper van insurance (€400) come out of our savings too.

Ha, not sure where that figure came from. Should say €4000.

No takeaways? Nights out? Birthdays/Christmas? WiFi? Clothing? Newspapers? Books? Insurance? Or is that out of the £200?
I lived within a tight budget when I was young but not sure how relevant it is posting what you actually spend is as every factor is unique to you and your circumstances.
A friend did give me a very thorough budget (he made himself) when my husband died. Everything down to wine, pet food, one trip abroad a year etc, tied in to inflation for the next five years. It made for depressing reading! He did forget (probably as he had no children) that kids grow, attend birthday parties and do sport, but it was very interesting to see I mapped out.
