Credit card transfer 0% - what would you do?

My Husband and I have around £1000 total between us on two separate credit cards.

We’d like to get a 0% interest card and do a balance transfer then pay them off together to avoid the interest we are currently paying.

My question is:

A) Can we transfer from two separate CC in different names onto the new 0% card?

B) Is there a card where we can do this and also use the new CC to pay for something without being charged on it? For example both cars need servicing so we would like to use the card to pay for this then not use it and just pay off what’s on it.

Any help really appreciated.

Yes, you should be able to do this. I think you can do with different names but if one of you applies and puts the other person on as a second card holder, I don't see the issue.

Yes, there are cards which do this, Sainsbury's have a duo card for example. Check out the MSE 'All Rounder' Section.
