Where are you shopping?

Perhaps irrationally, I feel upset that Sainsburys have increased the price of my daughters Alpro Growing Up Milk by 15p (she is allergic to dairy) they were already the most expensive at £1.80 for 1 litre, but now they're charging £1.95..

I'm thinking of switching supermarkets, those of you that shop elsewhere, have you noticed big price hikes like this?

I expected a slow increase due to the current climate, but several of our staples have shot up overnight

Online shop from Asda with Lidl top up.
We only have meat very occasionally now to keep to budget. Every thing has increased in price.

Asda are increasing week by week.
I have a regular slot and often automatically put all my regulars in there then add things/update the day before delivery.
Yesterday as I went to update it, it advised me of changes and several items had gone up by 10-15p each again.

Asda have increased Aptamil by £1.00 a tub, and .75p for the premade 6 pack, doesn't seem much but it definitely adds up!

Unfortunately this is now the world we live in!

I'm lactose free and yesterday shopping for milk I was shocked at the price increase. In fact im shocked at all the price increases. Have prices increased again? Makes me hate food shopping because a small shop is now way way more.

“I expected a slow increase due to the current climate”

But the “current climate” behind the price that you pay is seeing big increases, not slow ones.

Butter went up 50 p in a month. A 37% increase. Unfortunately many things are jumping in price.

Tesco, I tried going to Aldi but the drive and the hour and the faff then compared my receipt to a Tesco shop searching only Aldi price match products was only 2.70 difference for a weeks shop so figured that it’s just not worth the Saving
