Looking for a job (UC, child just turned 3)

Hi,
I would really appreciate if you could share your experiences.
I'm on UC, left my previous job last December. My child just turned 3 and I understand I have to look for a job ASAP if I don't want my payments to be reduced /cancelled. I still did not receive any information from my work coach.
1)Do I need to send a proof that I'm looking for a job or I need to wait until they'll contact me? What kind of proof they need? I saved all emails where I sent my CV
2)I'm really struggling with childcare, have no family in UK and basically are not able to work until end of September (we got nursery from then). Husband is doing various shifts. I'm just wondering, is it possible they'll "push" me to work ASAP?

Thank you for your help!

No
my child is 3 I don’t work, but husband does. Asking as husband is earning a full wage then they won’t hassle you

Aslong* (not asking, sorry)

No-one will hassle you to look for work as long as your husband is earning over a certain amount each month - I think it is around £730 a month, it has just gone up. If he earns over the amount you will be put in light touch group and not be pushed to work. It's a ridiculous situation. Lone parents are pushed to look for work once their child turns 3 but the one of a couple who doesn't work seems to have no requirements as long as their partner earns above a ridiculously small amount each month.

Babyroobs - I agree, that's crazy. We live in London where every single nursery or childminder has loooong waiting lists. Even if you are lucky - they can cancel in one hour. I had to quit my job last December because our nursery was closed more than two months and I used all holidays, etc.... I can imagine single mum in this situation, it's ridiculous.... Even payment for nursery, you must have money to pay that you could claim costs next month from UC and full time nursery costed for us almost £1200!
