British Gas to refund energy rebate each month.

Just had an email saying that British Gas will be refunding the £67/66 per month after the full direct debit has been taken. So not just a credit on the account. I now need to up my DD to £66.

Assuming it's £40pm now, won;t that make it £72pm from October - unless you're on a fixed rate?

I had the same email off British Gas.
Im prepayment meter.
So I will receive a £66/67 voucher to top up my electric.
So gathering then my meter is topped up to that amount?
It hasn't said anything about my gas which is prepayment as well. Not sure if I can use it for both?

I'm fixed above the current cap until March

My billing company is Octopus so they are just reducing my (dual fuel) direct debit for six months instead.
