How Much Do You Owe in Credit Card/Store Card/Loans

Have had a few conversations about this over the weekend.

Some were staggering, but "justified" because they are on a high income. Others were low, regardless of high income. 1 was no debt whatsoever (she is the most calm and non materialistic funnily enough).

I had 1 friend that was mortified to admit she owed £5k over 3 cards and had a long term well paid job and was losing sleep over it.

Mine? Ive just filled in my Bankruptcy forms....

Did you split from dp? Hope you are okay xxx

we have one loan which we took last year of 5K and our mortgage, thats it. We dont have any store cards, catalogies or credit cards. Would be too easy to run up a huge bill.

i owe just over £2000 for credit cards, went up a lot after booking holiday to jamaica, but should be able to pay it all off soon.

we owe nothing. Have credit cards but pay them off in full every month. No mortgage, no loans. Like others have said, it's a lovely feeling.

We were in debt for a couple of years when we were younger - never ever again.
