How to earn money as an obsessive planner

kavalkada · 06/08/2022 09:03

The title says it all, I'm an obsessive planner and I like doing it. I have a full time job, but I would say that is my hobby. I plan holidays I'll never go to in smallest details and I meal plan and budget the same way. Is it possible to earn something out of my obsession? I sound silly, I know. I would like to earn a little but extra to save for a trip of a life time for my family, but I need to find a way to earn a little bit on the side to fund it.

Can you be a virtual PA?
Also in my ideal world I'd pay someone to pester me to go to bed, stop internetting, stop procrastinating.. (adult Adhd). Not sure that exists really

And I would love someone to plan a holiday in great detail for me, with some general directions at the start! ...aah I feel you're a more advanced species than I 😀

There are plenty of things I'm crap at, but planning is not one of them. We have been renovating our home last few years and I enjoyed every second. It was my idea of heaven. Now if I could only find a way to earn a little bit from my obsession...

Omg...this...can you see if you could do that on a part time/ weekend basis? (Organising renovations / building stuff).

I don't have a degree in that and I'm sure people wouldn't like to give their hard earned cash to somebody who did just their own home. But I'll have to check about virtual PA. Trouble is I already have a full time job and two small kids. It would be ideal if I could work from 4 till 6 am and after 9 pm. I think virtual PA's have to always be on disposal

OMG you are another one.

I plan, in detail.

I once sent a friend to a cultural festival with a personalised timetable so he got to see all the dance he wanted.

I watch old episodes of Friends and think, "Monica was an armature"

Hi OP - could I pm you? (No nefarious reason, just some money talk)

Project management would probably suit you. Like proper project management. Go for it!

or travel agent?!

BeeCyber8net · 07/08/2022 12:25

Project manager

Wedding planner

Travel agent

Events planner

I've seen NHS jobs advertised for planners for hospital beds for incoming patients & discharge of patients. There must be loads of similar jobs in NHS in different departments
