Cost of living payment

Did anyone not receive it today who were expecting it?
I have been in receipt of UC for approx 2 years. I earn £11000 a year so I was really expecting a payment.
I have an earnings dispute for this month as my employer reported my earnings wrong last month but it was only this months (28 june) payment which hasn't been received!

So mines is a bit complicated….

I had a payment within the assessment period required. Then my UC was closed as my partner forgot to accept their commitments 🙄 claim was then restarted but we did overtime so had a ‘nil’ award for end of June.

I would’ve thought though that we would still have received payment as were entitled to a payment for the 25th-24th apr to may assessment period? Anyone in similar position?

If you had a payment during the assessment period then you are entitled to it

Someone I know at work did say they had got a text a couple of days before the payment but I don’t know if this is the case for every payment

Never received a text it was just there after midnight. No letter or anything. The only thing I could think of is that my uc is due on Monday and was paid Saturday and the cost of living payment also was paid the Saturday but was due Monday. So I wondered if my uc payment had something to do with it

I thought that too but then as claim was closed then it maybe cancelled it out. Still no payment as yet. Thank a for reply though

So i claim uc and also get carers allowance, am I eligible for the payment? I just read on twitter that if you receive carers allowance ( aswell as uc) your not eligible!

If you claim UC then you will get it.

If you just get carers you are not eligible, but if you get UC as well you are. Mine went in to the bank on Saturday.

Mines went in today thankfully. No idea how they’re working it, think it must be random from what I’ve read. Hope it’s not too long a wait for everyone else

No it doesn't stop you getting the payment

Yes you are, I get uc and carers allowance and mine went in today
