I'm really struggling with my debts.
I have a high interest loan and a couple do credit cards. I don't know why to do. It's eating up so much of my income which is just making me end up in a. Vicious circle.
I have thought fo a debt management plan, but I know it was remain on my records for 6 years. 6 whole years, I'll be nearly 40 by the time my credit can improve.
I'm already a single, I don't know what to do :(

Is there any consilidation means I can do without distroying my credit rating?

Ps I work part time, I love with my parents and I receive a UC top up! If any of that is relevant.

Credit isn't everything. Unless you plan on buying a house in the next 10 years then you can survive without credit so it might be worth looking into. My husband did it and he spoke to CABs financial advisor. They have been extremely helpful and basically did all the work, consolidated his debts with his creditors over 8 years and have saved us £450 a month in doing so. He will have no credit for 8 years but we are lucky to have a mortgage already and our income is much better now.

I do think you should look at increasing your work hours if you can though. I have gone back to work to help my husband and that is one of the first things the FA asked about.

Thank you!
I'm not in a position to buy but I like to imagine I will rent within the next 6 years as I'm living at my parents now but were quickly outgrowing this space.
I can't increase my hours unfortunately. I have very little support. Even if I did increase I'd have to increase considerably before I saw mucb benifit as I get a UC top up which would be decreased if I wasn't more.

I feel trapped.
