Basically, I just don't know what to do. I've got myself into a right mess and I don't know how to get myself out of it.

Is there anywhere I can go to get some help with budgeting which won't judge me. I've made some rubbish mistakes and now I can't afford to live 😭😭

Stepchange as they are free and can look at all the options for you

Make an appointment with CAB. If you need urgent assistance, they can refer to a food bank but they will also look at longer term solutions.

CAP may be able to help if in your area

Thank you everyone.

I'm so worried I'm going to be judged harshly. Basically Christmas time hit and I was so skint, I have 3 children to support and I took out budgeting loans, bought things on credit and now I can't even afford my rent each month and I'm having to ask my dad for help which is completely unfair as I'm an adult.

I'll try stepchange and cab. Thank you xx

Getting in to debt is easy, getting out is very very hard.
Never give up, you can break the cycle of debt.

One day you will be doing a debt free scream... even if just to yourself, not on radio, podcast and YouTube!

Any of the charities that can help - like CAB and Stepchange already mentioned - are not there to judge you. They have seen it a million times. Do not let that put you off!

I used stepchange when I got into a mess and they were brilliant. Really kind and understanding.

You've already made the first step by admitting you need some help with your finances. It's not an easy thing to admit to. Next step, it would be best to contact a debt charity like Stepchange. I got into quite a bit of debt a few years ago and contacted stepchange who helped me sort all of my debts, they were brilliant and very understanding. I'm 2 years away from being debt free and I'm glad I tackled it. Good luck with everything.
