Has made me heave a huge sigh of relief today.

I have debt and am currently really struggling on a daily basis to make ends meet, but holy god, some people on there are thousands and thousands and thousands of pounds in debt and not going to be free of it for another 20 years and this doesn't include their mortgages.

I am not judging them (although i was shocked at someone booking a trip to NY when they owe so much on cards and loans), as I know how easy it is to get into debt and lose control once your circumstances change.

If I never ever take on anymore debt, I will be debt free in 2018, and until today that thought made me so depressed, but it's right what they say, there is always someone worse off than you and with a bigger mountain to climb.

Well done for making a decision to tackling things head on.
I started last year. I will be debt free this time next year! £10k will be paid off!
I've been in debt for most of my adult life. I don't know what I'll do with the extra cash. (£250 a month!!)

being in debt scares me and I often wonder how others who appear to be in same situation as me and yet spend far more than I could ever dream of. Sometimes that gets me down but the fear of owing and the bailiffs scares me more than I get down about having less.

It is an awful feeling rey and one which I am sick of feeling tbh which is why I want to sort it out. I am fed up of being scared of opening my post. Plus I don't actually have alot to show for my debt which is even more stupid.

Hopefully if I ever get back to work I can pay my debt off even quicker than 2018 but i'm not gonna try and run before I can walk.
