I've empitied the money boxes and my purse as we have only 31 days dual currency before we are totally using the Euro here in Cyprus.

Of course I can. So what do you want - a coin of each denomination?

I have a desk drawer that is groaning with foreign currency. I keep meaning to take it to the airport and chuck it in a UNICEF box but I am up the duff and we haven't been on holiday for a while. Do you want me to take a look for anything he might like? Is it just coins or notes too? A lot of the more interesting countries have such crappy currencies they don't do coins, only notes.

Could possibly rustle up some Lao kip, Vietnamese dong, Indonesian rupiah, Cambodian real, Chinese renminbi, Singapore & HK dollars and if you're lucky some Burmese kyat (pronounced "chat" if he wants to show off at school). Denominations could be quite random.

Will have to double-check on the rupiah, now I think about it. We got burgled by a complete moron who took all the money with lots of zeroes printed on it and left the US dollars and sterling. His total cash haul was about $1.26

cali, does he want any bosnian convertible marks? I'd be happy to send. (as long as nazi postmistress Post Office allows me to send them that is...)

Ooh and I may be able to do some Malaysian ringgit, which were made not fully convertible after the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis so you can only actually get it in Malaysia.

And Thai baht if they're not already covered in his collection?

I have emailed you - sometimes my address is blocked by overly enthusiastic spam filters, so let me know if it hasn't come through.
