I sell a range of t-shirts (designed by a friend) on market stalls and at festivals, etc. We have been kind of bumbling along doing this for a few years now (it is not the main source of income for either of us) but we have recently had a wealthy acquaintance ask us if we would like some investement in the business. We are thining about it, and what I wonder is, what's the bestway to do this. Do we offer the investor a share of our profits (if there are any). DO we accept money as a loan to be repaid with interest after a set time? Has anyone else dealt with anything similar and if so what did you do?

what would suit you best? is this person offering any kind of help aside from financial? How would you use this cash (have you got any budget/projections)? This will help determine wehther its feasible to have it as a loan to be repaid or as a gift (I'm assuming you just operate as traders not via a partnership/company).
