Junior ISA and LISA

Quick question - can I pay into both of these in the same tax year? I know they're not the same type of ISA but I just want to check!

And while I'm here, can I pay into two different junior ISAs in the same tax year? I'm setting up a new one for youngest DD but didn't realise this might be a limitation.

Thanks all!

Yes. Junior ISA is on behalf of a child, so is using their allowance. ISA is using your allowance.

Two Junior ISA's for the same child may be an issue. Could the new one Transfer In the old one? Are they different types, so one a Cash Junior ISA and one a Stocks & Shares Junior ISA?

Thanks for the reply @nannynick. The new junior ISA would be for my second DD, so they're for two different children. Does that make a difference?

Yes it does. That is fine, as that Junior ISA belongs to DD2, the other belongs to DD1. You are custodian of those until they reach age 16, they then get control but not access (I think at that point it still uses your login). They have access at age 18.

Perfect, thank you!
