Universal credit- working hours with older children

I am splitting with husband and reading up about universal credit for when he moves out. I currently work 20 hours a week. Do I have to work at least 35 to be eligible for UC? Kids are 12 and 17. Obviously I understand that I should support us as much as I can before relying on benefits but I don't know if I'll get the hours at work. Will they expect me to get another job? Also, I have a health condition so 35 hours will be exhausting for me.
Hope someone can help as I'm a bit concerned now that I we will be struggling until I can get more hours.

Sorry, ignore this thread! I'd read it that I need to work a minimum of 35 hours when it actually says maximum 😅. I should be OK.

There's not a maximum amount of hours for UC, what are you reading?

If you have a health condition ask your GP for a fit note so your work commitments can be adjusted to reflect this.

Thank you. I think I understand it a bit better now.

Once your youngest is 12 then you are expected to earn 35 x nmw. However in reality they won't do much if you don't earn this.
