Really struggling with £90 a month pet insurance premiums

I insure 2 cats with Petplan and a dog with Asda insurance. I'm struggling with £90 a month but also aware of how huge vet bills can be. They all have lifetime cover but I'm considering changing that to make it cheaper or even just stopping the insurance altogether. Any advice please?

@brokenhairband totally agree. My bill was huge and I googled some of the things on it and they would not have been used for the condition my cat had. Apparently the vets had 'made a mistake' when I queried it with them. They agreed to remove a few of the items.
I also noticed quite a few items on there were multi use items that aren't purchased for each individual animal. Didn't bother arguing that with them though.

We didn’t insure our first dog. He needed about 2.5k of vets bills in his last year. However, we reckoned that we had saved that at least in the 12 years of not insuring him. Our new dog is insured to the tune of £30 a month with PetPlan, although I’m wondering if I could get a cheaper plan elsewhere? He’s still under 1 with no existing conditions so I think it would be easy to switch.

I put the premium in Premium Bonds and hoped to win a million - sadly I did not win a million but still hoping.
