Energy provider stopped trading, can’t access statements

Not sure if this is in the right place, but I tried to log in to my account today and received a message that they have ceased trading (Avro energy, if anyone else is with them).

When I log on, non of the usual links work so I can’t see my balance or access my statements. I had smart meters but they reverted to normal when I switched to Avro so I now give readings manually. I have emailed them enquiring about statements, but received an auto message back stating the same thing as their website.

Is there another way to obtain this, if Avro don’t respond to my email?

I don’t know another way to ensure my details are accurate when I am switched over to the new provider, especially as I’m in credit usually so I want to make sure I don’t lose any money.

I’ve had issues before when switching with providers disputing balances, so I’d like to avoid the headache if I can!

Like everyone else I couldn’t access the website, but I had an email on 1 september about prices. If you go via the link you can access all the statements :)

@Tashie4 Thank you for the link to Avro. I have now been able to access my statements and take a print of my credit balance. This has given me peace of mind knowing I have a record of recent transactions and my credit balance.

Just to say you can (as of this evening 24 Sep, anyway) still access Avro Energy statements and your account balance by going to the following link and logging in as normal:
assets.avroenergy.co.uk/Default.aspx

Ah, I've been pipped to the post! Smile

Avros customers have been moved to Octopus Energy.

We'll be told what tariff we're on and can then ask to move to a better deal or move suppliers but with nearly 600k customers I wonder how long it will take for us to be advised? (guidance says to contact Octopus if not heard in a couple of days)

@stareintothemaggotdrawer - you're very welcome. I've since had an email from Octopus, hopefully you have too but if not it says we'll have an update within 7 days. Fingers crossed it will be as straightforward as it can be for us all.
