Child benefit and tax

Is there anyone who can help me understand the rules regarding higher income and child benefit? I understand that between £50,000 and £60,000 you start to lose child benefit. Is this before or after pension contributions? I think I will be very borderline and am wondering whether I can keep child benefit by paying more into my pension? Thank you

After pension, it’s taxable pay.

After pension deductions. They have a calculator. Even then between 50-60 it tapers so can still be worth having. Does force you into self assessment though i believe.

Thank you both for your replies, if it's after pension deductions I'll be ok!
