Only £500 to invest- but where?

I have £500 to invest on behalf of my young teen dc.

I already have a S&S ISA so could put it in that but I'd like to show them what sort of growth they could get, even on a small amount, to get them interested in becoming money savvy as they get older so would like a separate product.

Any ideas?

Vanguard have a range of funds that you can chose from.

Some are obviously riskier than others!

@AgnesWaterhouse1566

Either: JISA, rolling into a LISA at 18 (free money at LISA point) or Pension (also free money). If you really want to demonstrate the joy of compounding, add regular monthly sum (some platforms will let you add as little as £25 per month). Then each year get them to calculate how much you actually put in vs how much is now in there. This gives more of a focus for them to see the growth of small regular savings.

Vanguard is great, really user friendly and easy to shift between funds as and when you like.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Another vote for vanguard. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials that you could watch together too.
