Can I ask who you have your mortgage with?

Been using some online calculators to work out what I can borrow and what monthly payments are likely to be.

I haven't heard of a lot of the cheaper mortgage lenders coming up (Marsden, Platform, Coventry, etc) and just wondered if people stick with the big names, or if these are companies are just as good as any?

My current mortgage is with Halifax, who also happen to be my bank.

Thanks.

HSBC - Offered pref rates to premier customers, and also easy to over pay on my app, coupled with a 2.49% fixed for 5 years at 90% remortgage.

First 2 years we lived here ours was with Halifax (just because they were the cheapest rate who said yes at the time due to husband having a default on his file)

Since 2018 we have been with Nationwide currently on a 5 year fixed rate of 1.79%

Looking to stay with them in 2023 when the fixed rate ends unless someone else is way cheaper
