Tax credits during sick leave

Hello, please can I have some advice.

Normally I am eligible for working tax credits because I have a main part time job as an employee for 13 hrs and I work as a cleaner self employed for 3hrs (all declared, paid into bank account by clients etc) bringing it to 16hrs a week.

I am a single parent, carer to dd who has homeschooling provision on her EHCP and who gets DLA - just so you have all the information.

I have just had a back operation and have been told by my physiotherapist that my total time signed off sick (before phased return) will very possibly 3 months due to the jobs I do all being extremely active/physical.
I can't bend and lift.

My main employer is paying me sick pay.

I am not earning any S.E. cleaning money due to being unable to currently work.

I am just wanting to check if it's correct that I am still okay to claim working tax credits during my time off sick.

According to the website it's fine for up to 28 weeks.

Because I am both an employee and self employed I wanted to make sure that I am correct.

Yes, all the time you're getting statutory sick pay, you're still eligible for TCs.

Yes you can get WTC for the duration of SSP but not sure if it makes any difference with that job only being 13 hours?

Yes, that is maybe something I need to check on, that's where it's not so straightforward.
