I've got two months left before the government makes up my mind for me - any recommendations on providers? Why did you pick the one you did?

Ah right, thanx evenhope.

RGPargy · 08/11/2007 11:56

lol Niecie! DS is 17 so i have no idea about that sort of thing these days. Never got one of those bounty pack things either this time around so maybe i'm just out of the loop?

Only 2 1/2 weeks to go before this one pops out tho (hopefully sooner!) so i'm sure i'll be in the loop again very soon......

Evenhope -- we don't pay any extra into the F&C fund, just the original £250 voucher. But dd2 is nearly 4, so possible the rules have changed, though seems unlikely. Phone them and check, maybe.

TheBlonde · 08/11/2007 15:51

Evenhope - the F&C form is a bit confusing but you only need to pay in the voucher

Evenhope · 08/11/2007 15:56

Thanks. Is yours a stakeholder, shares or cash one?

frogs · 08/11/2007 16:02

Mine is shares -- the F&C Global Smaller Companies one.

Lazarou · 08/11/2007 16:13

The Share Centre

Lazarou · 08/11/2007 16:14

I liked the sound of the global jupiter fund

TheBlonde · 08/11/2007 16:24

We have the stakeholder one

ChippyMinton · 08/11/2007 16:26

nationwide stakeholder - we had some of the first vouchers so there wasn't much advice to base it on then, but it seems to be performing acceptably.

Niecie · 08/11/2007 16:26

RGPargy - the info for child benefit should be in the post baby Bounty bag so presumably the details of the voucher should be in there too. Don't miss getting one as it is a pain to get one at a later date. DS2 was an accidental home birth and I never got the bag and ended up losing a couple of months child benefit whilst I was trying to get hold of one.

Good luck with your baby though!

hi callie

i did f&c - they had the best return over a long period on moneysupermarket, about 17% when i did it back in april. mrs efficient, eh? they also do an investment plan as well as child trust.
