Help!! I'm trying register for the self assessment tax return ready for when the tax year ends as I earn over 50k. So I've registered for it but it says I have to be a company which I am not so how do I pay the child benefit? If I am employed do I still need to a tax return cause surely HMRC know how much I've earned Hmm

Are you're sure you're trying to register for self assessment and not accidentally trying to register for a corporation tax return?

And yes, even if you're employed you still need to complete a tax return if you're subject to the high income child benefit charge.
