Nurse refers to Yawn as a "colleague and friend". No Nurse, she is neither. She will never help you out in an emergency, have you round for a brew or look after your kid at short notice or do anything with or for you that an actual friend would. She is rinsing you for every penny she can and once there's nothing left you'll be dropped like a stone. Friends don't do that to each other.

I get the feeling that Nurse is desperate for that kind of relationship from Yawn, she's even said her child calls her "Aunty".

Nurse held a 'Deal or No Deal' event on her page last night. I'm presuming it was No Deal as the only person who commented was her depressed downline.

I'm desperate to know more about this. What happened? Was it a live no one joined? No engagement or interest? Was there any flouncing or passive aggressive 'no one likes me' comments? Surely depresseddownline and mum took part? When is she going to realise??

She seems to lose real life friends on a daily basis (recent comments about losing her childcare bubble amid some drama) and talks about some random 'teamie' who is another downline of yawns as being her 'bestie' (trying to emulate yawn and BFF in FL one assumes) yet had never referred to her before about a month ago. Previous hairdresser real life 'bestie' rarely pops up these days. I feel so sad that her real life support network is being replaced by people who will disappear as soon as she realises this is all smoke and mirrors

She's been getting a load of comments on her random toilet training/park woes/bin day posts recently. Only by other FL inmates though. Looks exactly like she's complained about getting no engagement on FB and they've all rallied round on Yawn instructions to make vapid comments to avoid the usual tumbleweed

She’s now trying another strategy for getting engagement - ‘hit me up’ with suggestions for a new hoover
I’ve seen this a lot on top bots’ pages - asking for suggestions for where to go on hol/ what sofa to buy etc etc

On second reading, it sounds like it’s Yawn’s ‘voice’

Yes, this is what you get when you have a job. Paid leave. You are literuuuullly being paid while not at work. And you want to give that up??

So, Yawn's competition winner ....if you look at her profile picture the text on it is all so wrong!

An "ethical" business? "No pressure"? You're having a laugh, how can there be no pressure with Yawn breathing down your neck making you buy and recruit to line her pockets.

If you look at winners various occupations she will be meeting vulnerable people.

I think the point of these ‘deal or no deal’ or ‘secret sales’ is purely performative. It’s busy work

Bots can kid themselves they are building a business by engaging in all these social media things but it’s part of what I see as ‘pretend play’ and to have something to put in their planner

It has no impact but they can talk about it at the next team training, so they look like they’ve been ‘working their business’

@Spongebobette I think WW is struggling with engagement. At least he used to have a bit more traffic thanks to Mrs H and her victims, but her followers are all busy watching her diversify into a financial ponzi. Now he’s got to generate attention on a stand-alone basis (standing alone in his power obvs). I notice his likes and comments are usually less than 10 and very often from all or most of the engagement is from his Live partner (who possibly is more than just a follower). I wonder if he has quietly got another job as I can’t see how he is supporting himself otherwise. He launches a new “brand” of coaching most weeks but even a new cartoon-like logo fails to bring in the punters. I wonder if he will just fade out or sign up to a new opportunity himself.

But.... how will he ‘keep the conversation alive?’

Watching Homeschool's descent from one of the more respectable MLMs (Forever Living), which at least PRETENDS that the business owners have a retail business, into dodgy chicken cartilage collagen miracle drinks and Ponzi crypto schemes is fascinating.

It puts me in mind of something out of Dickens - sinking lower and lower and scrabbling for income and putting on a brave face in public

What it goes to show is that these people are scammers at heart. Once the wheels come off in the 'respectable' pyramid they have had brief success in (because they are ruthless scammers), their natural home is another pyramid scam, no matter how dodgy.

That is what they know how to do- con people out of their cash. It is the one transferable skill they have, all they're looking for is a scheme where they can put it to use.

Agree and I think they also get hooked on the short term, low barriers to glory that MLM offers; nowhere else will their name appear in lights, will they be able to style themselves a CEO or hold an audience in a Live, or offer training in “running a bizniz/being an entrepreneur etc. That kind of thing is addictive when the alternative is an invisible job in a shop or office.

The BFF of the brother mentioned above has a very odd outlook on her FB page. She makes dangerous claims about depression for example and has even attacked the idea of eating breakfast.

BFF wants help with split ends. Not a good advert for the products then.
One of her minions got over £25k in 6 years. Hope she didn’t spend it all at once.

Mrs Sponlie has done a cracker of a vid on YouTube about Messiah...the last 10 mins especially say some very sad / horrible things about his relationship
