Can you leave money in your will to someone living in another country where there are normally restrictions on the amt of money you can take out of the country?

That's it really. Cousin lives in SA and tells me my DC's are remembered in her will - which is lovely but sad too as she's very very ill atm - but is there some restriction on the amt of money that can leave the country? I know there used to be a problem there - when she gave me some money a few years ago she had to take it out as travellers cheques.

Don't think it matters where the beneficiaries live. It would probably have to be put into a local account initially and moved by telegraphic transfer to a UK a/c
