Child taking an extra year to resit A levels & benefits

Hi my daughter is nearly 18 & is in second year of doing Alevels. She has just been diagnosed officially with ADHD which totally ruined her first year. She has improved no end is now on meds. She wants to resit her A levels if possible (With a view to oxbridge) & I wondered if I would still get child tax credits for her if she did this extra year? I am a single mum on benefits (her younger brother have severe autism & I am his carer).

You can get child benefit and child tax credit up until her 20th birthday if she remains in college level education. You just need to inform them.

My daughter ended up doing her a-levels over 3 years (changed her mind after a year so had to start again) I got child benefit and tax credits for the extra year but I had to inform them.she was staying on after year 2
