. . . .so we have two options.

Do we stay put, or do we move to a cheaper but still a lovely house and be mortgage-free?

What would you do? Would you rather be mortgage-free?

(bearing in mind the house we are in now is absolutely gorgeous but I am not totally in love with it so there would be no heart-wrenching goodbyes or anything)

Well, just to update:

We have put our house on the market now, it went on Friday. We met with the builder of the house we want to buy just to have a bit of a chat and I had some questions about boundaries etc.

Just need to sell our house now!!

DH is very keen to buy a place in West Wales quite soon (we have found somewhere ideal there too - but I would be happy to wait a while to do this), or at least when we have freed up the mortgage on our current house, so we may not be as mortage-free as I thought!!
