Flexible ways of earning £50 a week (regularly)?

Maybe Avon? Working for a survey company? I have no idea. I want to be a SAHM but just need a bit of "pocket money" for days out etc. Any advice would be appreciated!

I ve never gotten more than £10 a week from surveys if that but I like it as a hobby more than a guaranteed income.

Yankathebear · 25/05/2020 09:58

Have you looked on the £10 a day posts on here.

AwkwardPaws27 · 25/05/2020 10:00

Could you work a night / evening shift after your DH/DP gets home.
Babysitting service (post-lockdown)?
What do you currently do? Could you offer your skills part time?
Or something remote, like a virtual assistant?

BuffaloCauliflower · 25/05/2020 10:03

Does your DH income not cover enough for days out without you getting your own ‘pocket money’? If money will be that tight I’m not sure you can afford this.

SteeplechaseAva · 25/05/2020 10:10

Thanks, I will have a look at the £10 a day ideas - hadn't seen that.

I'm currently a medical secretary but would be open to most things.

DH's income covers everything with some spare, but if I could contribute to a little pot for extra treats then it would be nice not to have to watch the pennies so much.

@SteeplechaseAva definitely have a look at the £10 a day threads. From your description it sounds like you are in a similar position to me. There are a number of legitimate businesses that offer flexible home working not just surveys. I started reading those threads in January and now I make a few hundred pounds every month working in the evenings and at nap time. It does take a little while to get signed up to things and get started but do ask questions on the thread, everyone is really helpful.

I make about 10 a week doing surveys. I use Prolific. I also made a large amount last year doing matched betting but stopped just before christmas. That will probably be quiet at the minute I would think though.

pisspants · 28/05/2020 01:35

From following the £10 per day thread I signed up with Appen and am doing a couple of long term projects which brings in approx £250-£300 per month for about 45 mins work per day.
I also do low risk casino through Team Casino and make about £300 per month from that also. I was very sceptical of this to begin with, but if you read more about it you will see how it works and how you make money from it. Not everyone's cup of tea though.

LonginesPrime · 28/05/2020 01:43

You'll probably make more for your time doing some hours as a virtual assistant/audio typist given your existing skills, OP.

I'd look into advertising on Upwork and similar if I were you.

JingsMahBucket · 30/05/2020 01:49

@SteeplechaseAva can you do medical coding remotely?

adelaya · 30/05/2020 01:53

Matched betting, particularly as the footie is restarting. I’ve made a fair amount since the bundesliga has been back

KingSheathBelle · 30/05/2020 01:58

The £10 day thread is the way to go.

Matched betting is usually a quicker income but so many ideas, also the Moneyshedblog or Emma Drew's blog.
