Ongoing PPI Claim with Lloyds TSB since last August...

With most call centres closed and people working from home etc at the moment, does anyone know where ongoing claims are up to?
I submitted a claim before the deadline last August which was acknowledged by them by letter in November 2019.
I then received a letter saying my complaint had been closed in December 2019 as they said they didn't have enough evidence.
I wrote and supplied further evidence in early January and obtained proof of postage but heard nothing.
I subsequently sent a follow up letter asking for and update (signed for) on 21/3 and when I check online with Royal Mail, all it says is my letter was received at the post office I sent it from, but not signed for at its destination?
I just wondered if anyone has any information on where such matters are at, or an alternative way of contacting them.
Thank you in advance.

@quertyuiop100

Ah I see, well that indicates to me that Natwest are still actively working on claims and that Lloyds TSB are desperately behind!
I hope you get the desired outcome Smile

@JoyceDivision I'm thinking that's definitely what has happened to me with Lloyds then as wrote in Jan and chased in March as no reply in 10 weeks. I so wish now I'd chased it sooner as I may have had a response before lockdown.

I was qwertyuioup100 - had a name change. I finally received my offer this morning, over a month since I had the text. Has cheered me up on a crappy Monday with an offer of just over £600 for an overdraft protection policy I used to pay something like £1.25 a month for!

That's great @DivisionBelles Smile

Update...

I contacted the FOC and they have informed me that Lloyds will make me a direct offer.

They added that it will be based upon that I'd have been better off not having the PPI at all.

I'm to give them 2 months/8 weeks to reply and if I don't hear / I'm not happy with the offer, to contact the FOC.
