I think if they are at separate banks it would be fine.

No. One per tax year.

puds11 · 10/03/2020 09:47

So you can open one a year?

Faraway20 · 10/03/2020 09:51

I didn't realise dd's child trust fund from 2009 had become (or always was) an ISA. I opened her a junior ISA last year and only pay in £10 per month at the moment. Nothing is going in the CTF apart from the original opening balance from 2009. I will get round to merging them but I don't know if I'll be in trouble??

You can have one junior cash ISA, and one investments junior ISA.
You cannot hold more than one of each type.

OK thanks.

Re trust fund. I was told they had to be merged to open the account?

The one with his dad is about 7 yrs old.
