It depends on your age, your child's age and you rent and whether private or council. It isn't possible to compare with others. If you want to know what Uc you will get without earnings then just look on, your Uc statement for the amount before deductions, that is the amount you will get.

It's possible to claim New style JSA alongside Uc but it would be deducted from UC. JSA would only be £73.10 a week so you would still need to claim UC to have enough to pay your rent and for the child element. So for example if you are over 25 you would get £317 standard element for yourself, £277 child element ( if child born before april 2017 ) and then a rent element depending on what your rent is and if private renting then what your local housing allowance is. So if for example your total Uc came to £1000 a month, the JSA is paid separately but then deducted off the Uc. probably not much point in claiming JSA really.
